FCSS Grant application now open for 2024-2025

Medicine Hat – The City of Medicine Hat is accepting proposals for Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Grant now through to May 1, 2023 at 3 p.m.

Proposals must focus on preventive social services that benefit the residents of Medicine Hat for a two-year period from January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2025.

Applicants must meet the FCSS criteria and be a not-for-profit organization. The following areas may receive priority for funding during the 2024-2025 period:

  • Homelessness and Housing Insecurity
  • Mental Health and Addiction
  • Employment
  • Family and Sexual Violence across the Lifespan
  • Aging Well in Community

Anyone interested in learning more about the grant can attend a virtual information session on Monday, April 3 from 12 – 1 p.m. or Wednesday, April 5 from 12 – 1 p.m. Click on your preferred date to register for the Zoom meeting.
