Festive lighting removal begins Jan. 15

Medicine Hat – Crews will begin removing the festive lighting from streetlights on Jan. 15, 2024, in various parts of the city. The schedule is weather dependent and will progress as follows:

• Downtown
• 1 Street SE
• Maple Avenue Bridge
• 8 Street NE
• Division Avenue N near 20^th Street NE
• Kingsway Avenue SE and South Railway Street SE
• Trans Canada Way SE
• Carry Drive SE
• Dunmore Road SE
• 13^th Avenue SE

The public is reminded to obey all traffic signs and posted speed limits in the work area.
