Group Activities to Resume for Same Household Members

Medicine Hat – Beginning this week, the Government of Alberta released an amendment to the recently implemented restrictions surrounding sports and group physical activities.

Indoor group physical activities are prohibited, unless the group only involves members of the same household.

“With this opportunity, we’re dedicating available time for same household families to play and stay active together at the Big Marble Go Centre,” said Natalie Sauer, Manager of Recreation. “We know how important it is for all of us to remain active and spend time with each other, while still respecting the restrictions that are in place to keep everyone in the community safe.”

The following activities are available for pre-registration:

Basketball
Pickleball
Badminton
Floor Hockey
Tennis
Soccer
Parent Play (for preschool children)

For more information on available programs, visit the City website or call the Big Marble Go Centre at 403.502.8566.
