Nighttime snow removal begins

Medicine Hat - City crews will begin nighttime snow removal operations in various areas throughout the city. A snow removal operation requires the snow to be graded (windrowed), loaded onto trucks and deposited at one of the designated snow disposal sites.

Starting Monday, Dec. 2, removal will begin in areas around the hospital, downtown, Kingsway Avenue SE, 13 Avenue SE, and Division Avenue. All schedules are weather dependent.

‘No parking’ signs will be placed during the snow removal operations to allow crews to remove snow from the city roads safely and effectively. Vehicles must be removed from the roadway when signs are present.
