Rehabilitation initiative at Ross Glen Coulee Trail

Medicine Hat – Work to rehabilitate the culvert and asphalt trail at Ross Glen Coulee trail is set to begin on September 11, with an anticipated re-opening in October 2023.

The trail has been experiencing settling issues that have impacted its quality, ease of use, and overall functionality. To resolve these problems, we’ll be adding a drainage trench, tile drain, and a corrugated steel pipe culvert at three points. These actions are intended to boost the trail’s drainage system and structural stability.

The section of the trail undergoing construction will be temporarily closed. We urge visitors to observe and adhere to construction and closure signage in the area. For more information, please call 403.529.8333.

Updated information will be made available on Trailforks App.

The City of Medicine Hat would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding as the necessary improvements are completed.
