Results of the Disestablishment Vote of the City Centre Development Area (CCDA)
Medicine Hat – On Tuesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 13, taxpayers of the Business Improvement Area (BIA) levy voted with respect to the disestablishment of the City Centre Development Area (CCDA).
67% of voters said yes to disestablish the CCDA.
In accordance with the BIA Regulation, Bylaw #4664 to disestablish the CCDA will be presented to City Council on June 7, 2021 for second and third reading. The Bylaw will take effect June 30, 2021.
