Road closures for Medicine Hat Ribfest 2023

Medicine Hat – The Medicine Hat Ribfest 2023 takes place downtown on First Street SE, Towne Square and Finlay Bridge Friday, Aug. 25 to Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.

To safely facilitate the event, First Street SE from Fourth Avenue SE to Sixth Avenue SE and Finlay Bridge from Sixth Avenue SE to Second Avenue NE will be closed from 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.

Motorists are reminded to obey all posted signs and to take extra caution while driving downtown due to an increase in pedestrian traffic.
