Veiner Centre to Close Following Announcement of Enhanced Public Health Measures

Medicine Hat – In following guidance by the Province of Alberta and additional enhanced public health measures, the Veiner Centre will close to the public effective Thursday, November 26 at 3:00 pm.

All group activities have been discontinued effective immediately. Staff are available via phone at 403.529.8307 for members who may have questions regarding the closure.

“We have appreciated the opportunity to welcome seniors into the Veiner Centre over the last number of weeks,” said Aaron Nelson, Manager of Community Connections and Support. “In light of the enhanced public health measures, we will pivot our activity towards engaging with our members through social media, as well as an existing telephone campaign.”

The City of Medicine Hat continues to support our province in their efforts to manage the spread of COVID-19.

The City continues to actively review the new restrictions set forth by the Government of Alberta and the impacts they may have on City-run programs and facilities.
