The City has received an application to rezone the properties below:
Addresses of sites: 512, 517, 625 and 650 13th Street SE
Neighbourhood: South Flats.
Current zoning: Mixed Use District (MU).
Proposed zoning: Business Industrial District (I-B).
Applicant: High Pointe Self Storage.
Purpose: This proposed rezoning is to allow for the development of various business industrial uses.
Status: Approved.
The Second and Third Readings and Public Hearing for proposed Bylaw 4813 (Land Use Bylaw Amendment to rezone the subject property) were held at regular City Council Meeting on May 21, 2024. Bylaw 4813 was passed by Council.

Previously, the Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) recommended that City Council approve this application. Discussion was held at the MPC meeting on April 3, 2024 at 1:30 pm in City Hall Council Chambers. The public is welcome to attend MPC meetings.
