City of Medicine Hat invites community to celebrate COVID stimulus projects

Medicine Hat – On June 14, Medicine Hat City Council and city officials will formally celebrate projects funded by the Government of Canada’s Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) COVID-19 Resilience Stream and the Province of Alberta’s Municipal Stimulus Program (MSP). The ICIP program allowed the City to reallocate $10.9 million of funding originally approved under the Public Transit Stream to support 13 new projects. The City of Medicine Hat was approved for five projects through the MSP and received a total of $7.5 million in funding to support the projects.

The City of Medicine Hat will host a celebration event on June 14.
