Fire Codes Permits and Inspections
We work in partnership with businesses, building owners and managers to ensure the safety of employees, customers and members of the public.
Alarm systems |
Alarm Systems Bylaw #3716 helps to reduce the number of times emergency services are dispatched to false alarms. Many systems are prone to false alarms, which prompt the immediate dispatch of police and/or fire resources. The bylaw includes information about registering alarm systems and outlines penalties for repeated false alarms. Alarm systems must be registered prior to being activated. |
