Sign Permits

Some exterior signs require permits.

The Land Use Bylaw regulates the number, size, type, appearance and location of signs for both public and private property. There are also Safety Codes regulations that apply to some types of signs.

Do I need a permit?

An outdoor sign may require a Development Permit. Sometimes a sign may also require a Building Permit or Electrical Permit. View the infographic below, or contact us for more information.
