Portion of Industrial Avenue SE temporarily closed for sanitary sewer line repair

Medicine Hat – Starting Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, a section of Industrial Ave SE between Medalta Avenue SE and London Avenue SE will close to allow crews to complete a sanitary sewer line repair.

During the closure, traffic on Industrial Ave SE will be detoured around the work zone to Medalta Avenue SE. Motorists are asked to follow all posted detour signs and reduce speed in the area to help keep crews and residents safe. 

The closure and detour are expected to remain in place until Friday, Aug. 21, weather permitting.
