The Family, Fun and Flight: Dave Rozdeba Memorial Airshow takes place Friday, July 10 (3 to 7 p.m.) and Saturday, July 11 (12 to 6 p.m.) at the Medicine Hat Regional Airport. To safely facilitate an increase in pedestrian and vehicle traffic for the event, traffic accommodations will be in place at the airport and surrounding area.
Traffic detours
There will be no left-turn access onto Airport Drive for motorists travelling westbound on Gershaw Drive SW/Crowsnest Highway. Please view the attached detour map to gain access from the eastbound lanes of the highway.

Parking
Once on site, two general event parking lots and one accessible lot are available on site. Event staff will be on-site to help direct motorists. View the airport access and parking map to view parking locations, as well as the pedestrian event access point.
What to expect
Motorists are encouraged to plan for a longer commute due to the increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area. Please obey all posted signage and take extra caution while driving near the Medicine Hat Regional Airport.
Traffic accommodations will be in place until approximately 8 p.m. on Saturday to allow attendees to safely exit the airport after the event has concluded.
Residents may experience above average noise levels at times, which is common for airshows. The public is thanked for their understanding throughout this popular community event.
