Demolition rescheduled for two unused Kipling Street buildings

The demolition of two unused buildings located at 345 Kipling Street SE has been rescheduled. Demolition will take place from August 31 to September 2.

Demolition had previously been scheduled for August 10 to 12. It was rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances while the aging buildings were decommissioned prior to demolition.

A section of trail running along the south side of the site will be closed during demolition. See the map below to view the site of the demolition and extent of the trail closure.

There are no impacts to motorists travelling along Kipling Street SE during demolition. Weather permitting, crews will complete the work, and the trail will reopen by end-of-day on September 2.
