Medicine Hat. – Invest Medicine Hat (IMH) and the City of Medicine Hat have been awarded the Innovative Approach to Economic Supports initiative to the Building Economic Strength category of the Minister’s Awards for Municipal Excellence.

Medicine Hat. – The City of Medicine Hat, together with Medicine Hat College, will host two mobile vaccination clinics for residents and students.

Medicine Hat. – With concerts and events soon to commence at City venues, the City of Medicine Hat has made the decision to follow artist’s requests regarding COVID protocols, including if proof of vaccination is required for attendees.

Medicine Hat. – The City of Medicine Hat, together with Alberta Health Services (AHS), is encouraging residents to get vaccinated and remain vigilant against the spread of COVID-19.

Medicine Hat. – On July 5, 2021, City Council unanimously passed a motion, directing staff to prepare a second COVID relief program in an amount of $4. 5 million.

Medicine Hat. – The Southeast Alberta Hydrogen Task Force (Task Force), an independent working group created to establish a framework to implement a hydrogen economy in Southeast Alberta, was officially launched today.

Medicine Hat – The services agreement between the City of Medicine Hat and Kerby Centre has been completed and operations transition planning is well underway. The Veiner Centre will reopen to the public on Monday, July 12, under City management.
