For the first time in Big Marble Go Centre’s history, Medicine Hat’s premier recreation facility is hosting a professional art exhibition. This offering has been made possible through collaboration with the Alberta Foundation for the Arts’ Travelling Exhibition (TREX) program.

With support from a grant from the Government of Alberta delivered by the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre’s (MCCAC) Municipal Electricity Generation Program, the City of Medicine Hat installed a small solar array on the new shade structure at Hill Pool.

The City of Medicine Hat’s Rec and Ride Youth Pass concluded last month, marking an incredible inaugural year for the initiative.

Medicine Hat voters will have the first opportunity to cast their votes this weekend at Advance Polls. Additionally, voters who are unable to pick up Special Ballots in person will receive their ballot packages via courier.

To allow the City of Medicine Hat and The Mustard Seed time to further review and respond to concerns, The Mustard Seed has withdrawn the application to rezone the property. As such, the public hearing scheduled for the September 29, 2025 City Council meeting is cancelled.
