A summary of City Council decisions from the September 8, 2026 Council meeting.

Medicine Hat City Council approved a budget reallocation for Electric Generation, supported changes to Business License Fees in 2027, and gave first reading to modify the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Bylaw.

Council adopted Strategic Plan 2027–2030 establishing four priorities to guide municipal decisions and services over the next four years.
