In accordance with section 68 of the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act, the City of Medicine Hat has been issued an approval by Alberta Environment and Parks for a renewal of an approval to apply pesticides (Reward Aquatic Herbicide) within Celebration Park Pond and Southridge Park Pond for the control of aquatic vegetation and algae. The Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act may provide you a right of appeal against this decision to the Alberta Environmental Appeals Board.
