The City of Medicine Hat is committed to building an inclusive community and providing an accessible environment where all individuals have access to the city’s services, facilities open spaces and programs in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We believe in encouraging, supporting, and facilitating actions that create a welcoming and inclusive community where diversity is celebrated.
Along with Medicine Hat’s Working Group on Accessibility and Inclusion, and guided by W3C Accessibility Standards, the City of Medicine Hat will continue to identify, remove and prevent barriers that are experienced by people with disabilities.
To request accommodations to access a City Program, Service, or Event please submit a request to accessibility@medicinehat.ca.
Please provide the following information in your request:
- Your name
- Your organization (if applicable)
- The City Program, Service, or Event for which you require accommodation
- Date, time and location of that City Program, Service, or Event
- A brief description of the accommodation you are requesting
- Do not include medical documents in your request
