Information for School Board Candidates
Election sign recycling
Candidates in the 2025 Municipal Election can recycle their campaign signs free of charge at the Kipling Bulk Recycling Depot at 240 Kipling Street SE. A designated bin will be placed on site and clearly marked as “Election Signs Only.” The bin will be in place from October 21 until October 30, 2025.
Acceptable materials include signs made of corrugated plastic, plastic film, or paperboard. Wooden stakes and wire mounts must be removed and discarded in the grey garbage carts before the signs are placed in the bin. Large signs may need to be cut into smaller pieces.
