Utility Meters

Nearly all utility meters in Medicine Hat are automated and will remotely transmit consumption information.

We are federally required to inspect and replace electricity and gas meters in specified intervals to meet Measurement Canada regulations and make sure they are measuring accurately.

If your service is interrupted (i.e. the electricity was turned off), we will leave a notice on your door to let you know.
