Medicine Hat - The Veiner Centre will reopen its doors on Monday, November 9, 2020, reconnecting its members through limited activities while keeping health and safety a priority. The Centre will operate under reduced hours, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Medicine Hat – The installation of 136 new LED lighting high and low bay fixtures, as well as LED strip fixtures has been completed inside the Kinplex Arena. The green energy initiative replaces current fixtures for both ice surfaces, increasing the lighting levels in the arena significantly.

With a number of challenges emerging due to COVID-19, including the inability to hold regional competitions in 2020 and the potential challenges with competitions into 2021, SOC elected to cancel the Games acknowledging that the typical pathways that qualify athletes for national competition are not possible.
